It’s not surprising to see the relationship between the young Upper West Regional Minister and the committed, loyal and trusted Bipuah Mohammed grow from friendship to family.
I think this is how politicians should do and at times emulate what Dr. Bin Salih Hafiz has done to a young guy from Nabulo to achieving his aim.
Building relationships is something we should all inculcate in our lives and make sure we do it to the best of our ability.
I have known Mohammed Bipuah for a very long time and has always seen hard work and commitment in him towards anything he does especially with the Upper West Regional Minister.
In a vivid flash back, we were all in this region and we saw “some” unfair, injustice and a lot of negative things been castigated by some members of the NPP in the region especially Wa Central where people who should have boldly come out to support the minister all disappeared into thin air . Of course, we saw Bipuah Mohammed who kept his life on the line and championed the defense of this minister on social media, Radio(calling me for opportunity to clear the air) and even text messages to national television’s stations during political discussions.

Again, Somewhere 2018, when the then Vice Chairman and Ag Regional Secretary (now Regional Minister) was aspiring to be the Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, we saw the invaluable contribution of Bipuah Mohammed.
He again was the defacto spokesperson to the team and played very vital role in the team. May the soul of his father(Nba Musah Bipuah) rest in peace, he was also a key member of this team and they both supported the minister in his bid to becoming the Party’s Chairman which couldn’t see the light of the day. Even i heard that the late Musah Bipuah was a good friend to the Ministers father, today , both are late and the bond is been strengthened.

One other good thing done by this young, good hearted man and old student of Wa Catholic called Bipuah Mohammed is that, he extended same loyalty to the wife of the Regional Minister and running helter skelter to see her NGO grow.

As a media person, I heavily chastised and criticized the regional minister especially when he chose another promising patriot (Katos) as his political secretary and personal assistant because i think when Bipuah Mohammed was fighting and supporting him, Katos was probably not closed and was no where nearer to the minister. I personally called my good friend Bipuah, I remember that time he was far away in Ho schooling. This was what I said to him in a phone conversation, “Mohammed, are you sure your minister knows you. I am sincerely and highly disappointed in him because myself and other like minded people know you should’ve been the PA. I thought he has treated you unfairly.”

I was shocked and surprised as to what Bipuah told me. I still remember very well, He said “My brother, minister has done nothing wrong. The minister’s decision to use Katos as PA is something he has extensively discussed with me”.
He again said that, the minister once asked him of what he wanted him to do for him which he chose to go to school and further. He added that, “even the school i am in today is been sponsored from the pocket of the minister.”
When I received this information from my friend Bipuah, there was nothing again to be said but I still thought something could’ve been done.
I also had information from one of the minister’s confidential people who said the minister has pledged to see Mohammed through to climb the Eduational ladder. It was there and then i started believing Bipuah took a good decision by telling the Minister he wanted to school.
Mr. Minister, Irrespective of my criticism on you as a Regional Minister 😀, I have that full admiration and respect for you. The beauty of this is that, my friend has now graduated with flying colors and I understand he is still proceeding again. Absolutely fantastic.
The story between the young Minister and Bipuah is a life learning one to all the youth in this region and also to our politicians to emulate what the regional minister has done.

WE THE YOUTH(ESPECIALLY THOSE IN POLITICS) MUST LEARN THESE TWO IN LIFE:

1.Prioritise your needs as a young politician and avoid begging for unnecessary favors from your “bosses”.

  1. Get a mentor and learn from him.
The above are all visibly seen in my friend Mohammed because we have always seen him project this minister even when he is wrong, He finds ways to defend him on social media, radio etc.
He has always seen Dr Bin Salih Hafiz as a Mentor and now a father.

Below is a recent Facebook post of the minister,Dr.Hafiz Bin Salih after the graduation of Mohammed.
“My son, Mohammed Bipuah graduated from the University of Health And Allied Sciences, Ho with a Bachelor of Public Health Degree (Health Promotion). Mohammed Bipuah is one of my loyal and dedicated sons and I have great respect and regard for him. I do not have gold nor silver for him but I will support him to the best of my ability to enable him to grow academically and in his career. This is the beginning and may Allah continue to guide and protect him, Ameen. Congratulations, Mohammed Bipuah”
This is Leadership, Very beautiful message to a person you truly like.
To my friend Bipuah Mohammed, you are indeed a good person and your story will forever remain a great one.
Bravo!!!!!!
