A senior lecturer at the SD Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (UBIDS) and former NDC parliamentary aspirant, Dr. Kannyiri Thadious Banyen, is urging Ghanaians to fancy a better future by voting the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2024 elections.

In a New Year Message, Dr. Kannyiri said Ghanaians must “say a BIG NO to the incompetent NPP government” who have offered nothing to the country but “poorly conceived policies that have left us desperate people”. He recounted how Ghanaians suffered and endured “near-catastrophic’ living standards in 2023 as a result of “poor economic management practices of the clueless ruling New Patriotic Party”.

According to the former Nadowli-Kaleo Parliamentary Candidate aspirant, the best option for Ghana’s future is John Dramani Mahama and the NDC. He said the Party “has consistently demonstrated unwavering commitment to good governance and the socio-economic development of Ghanaians”, adding that voting Mr. Mahama and the NDC PCs is an opportunity to “bring back sanity in governance in the country”.

While expressing confidence in NDC’s victory in 2024, Dr. Kannyiri charged members of the Party to bury all hatchets from the Party’s internal reorganization last year. “Let us put aside all our differences that developed before, during and after our various internal elections and forge ahead as a united force,” he advised.

He also urged Party members to be vigilant and protect the ballots on election day to be able to bring the change Ghanaians are seeking.
