President John Dramani Mahama is set to name the Upper West Regional scribe of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Charles Lwanga Puozuing, as the next regional minister for Upper West, sources say.
The Upper West is one of three regions yet to have a nominee for the top regional post, leaving a lot of speculation among residents in the area.
Sources close to this portal indicate that Lawyer Charles is all but set to be confirmed as the next leader to oversee the administration of the Upper West region.
Information available to this portal has it that the Regional Secretary was looking for appointment away from the region with particular focus on the then vacant Managing Director position at the National Lottery Authority, which was recently given to his counterpart in the Northern Region.
Mr. Puozuing, who had not filed initially for the post of regional minister, is seen as someone to break the deadlock created by three leading candidates whose names are currently at the presidency.
