The Ghana Police Service has commenced investigations into the alleged murder of Mr. Eric Johnson, the Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Cosy Hills Hotel and Resort, popularly known as Jirapa Dubai located in Jirapa, Upper West Region.
This follows multiple reports early Sunday morning about the demise of the businessman from Jirapa.
The Police in a statement on Facebook said a high-powered delegation led by the Director-General of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has been deployed to the Upper West region to lead the investigations.
“One person has since been detained to assist with the investigation”, the post further disclosed.
According to the Police, Mr. Johnson was found “lying in a pool of blood in one of the rooms at the Hotel” on Sunday, February 11, 2024.
