U/W -MASLOC BOSS ADJUDGED OVERALL BEST REGIONAL MANAGER IN GHANA FOR 2021

The Upper West Regional Director of Micro finance and Small-scale Loans Center, Abdul Aziz Suleman Moniesson has been adjudged the best regional manager of MASLOC for 2021.

 Mr. Abdul Aziz since his appointment in 2017 as Regional Boss for the organization has been adjudged the best among his peers across the country.

A citation presented to him described him as having a good recovery rate for disbursements from beneficiaries and that he follows laid down procedures in loan disbursements as well as having fortitude, foresight and a hardworking leader.

Mr. Abdul-Aziz was selected after a special monitoring team came and monitored his activities for a period of one week and two different auditing teams also came and audited the accounts of his office and all certified his performance and transactions as the best.

Chief Executive Officer of MASLOC Hajia Abibata Shanni Mahama Zakaria in praising the exploits of Mr. Abdul-Aziz Suleiman Moniesson described him as a brilliant team leader who got things done ahead of his colleagues.

His achievement is not stopping him from doing more in his office as Mr. Abdul-Aziz is poised to achieve more for MASLOC in the Upper West Region.

Speaking to Radio Mak in Wa, the MASLOC Regional Manager said he has three major interventions he intends implementing in the area.

According to him, aside working to lobby for more loan facilities for micro and medium scale businesses as a way of creating employment in the region, he intends increasing the loan recovery rate from the current 59.86% in order to maintain the award as well as helping government mobilize more resources to develop the Upper West Region.

 LOAN DISBURSEMENT

The Medium and Small-Scale Loans Center has from 2018 to 2021 disbursed an amount of GHC3, 729,100 to 207 groups across the region. The center has also disbursed GHS305, 000 as small loans to 21 different people in the region with a recovery rate of 59.86.

In addition to the cash loans disbursed by the Wa Office, it has also distributed 3 mini buses to Upper West Ghana Private Road Transport  Union,1 Nissan Urban, 133 Tricycles,1100 sewing Machines,1100 hair dryers machines. In all 2337 people benefited from the items,in all 7,161 people benefited from the Center in the Upper West Region.
